COURTNEY MORGAN-MICHAELS, DMD
Dr. Courtney Morgan-Michaels grew up in Pontiac, Illinois. She loved her time at Illinois State University where she graduated with a bachelor's in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Southern Illinois University in 2015.
After graduating, she worked as a family and cosmetic dentist in Chicago while her husband finished his residency at Northwestern University.
Dr. Courtney enjoys treating patients of all ages, from young children to the elderly, along with patients of special needs and dental anxiety. She is very compassionate and takes time to get to know each of her patients in order to develop a treatment plan that best suits their individual needs.
While not practicing dentistry, Dr. Courtney enjoys watching the Cardinals beat the Cubs (usually), exercising, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Mary Carstens, RDH
Mary is originally from Moline, Illinois and graduated from Illinois Central College with an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1985. She has been a dental hygienist for over 33 years in the Bloomington-Normal area and resides with her husband, Gary. They have two grown children. Mary enjoys her profession and provides patients of all ages with high quality dental care in a gentle, caring, and compassionate manner. She also strives to educate her patients on best practices for oral care. She has completed school visits, nursing home in-services, and volunteered her services at many free dental clinics. Mary enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching the Chicago Cubs, traveling, crafts, and shopping.
ASHLEY MOEWS
Ashley is Dr. Courtney’s Dental Assistant. She started in the dental field in 2018. She grew up in Bloomington and bought a home in 2017 in the big town of Ellsworth. Her hobbies include cooking, playing The Sims (yes, you read that right) and spending time with her small family. She has two kids, and a fur baby named Turbo. She spends as much time outside as she can during spring, summer and fall, but prefers to hibernate during winter.
